For SS12 it’s all about CITRIC ACID + PASTEL BRIGHTS, as dictated by Louis Vuitton and Meadham Kirchhoff (n.b. these moodboards combine menswear and womenswear in case you were getting confused!). First up: fishnet detail trainers by BALENCIAGA @ Matches, neon red python PS1 by PROENZA SCHOULER @ Browns and THOM BROWNE X DITA grille sunglasses @ colette.

The Mr Papillon Qee (I have a huge collection of Qees, including this special edition), has spring written all over it in its colour scheme and subject matter. Love! CHRISTOPHER KANE ‘Torque’ print swimming trunks @ Browns (I am not a devotee to his SS12 menswear collection, but these were particularly eye-catching!). MIHARAYASUHIRO lop-sided t-shirt also @ Browns.

GIVENCHY key holder @ Luisaviaroma, CHRISTOPHER KANE women’s high-gloss chelsea boots with fluoro green elastic @ Matches, amazing amazing amazing scuba-style neoprene┬ábeach bag/rucksack hybrid with patent leather detailing by PROENZA SCHOULER @ Proenza Schouler (can you tell I really want this??!).

‘Riot Not Diet’ print t-shirt by MEADHAM KIRCHHOFF @ Net-A-Porter, nylon sweatshirt by Moncler (isn’t Thom Browne just SO incredible!) @ Browns, and a techno patent variation of the fishnet detail BALENCIAGA trainers in the first outfit, also @ Browns. GOD, anybody would think I was on commission from Browns! And now, for some further eye indulgence, the truly magical and utterly beyond-words Louis Vuitton SS12 carousel show:

are Qee like bearbrick? i have a few bearbricks and they do seem quite similar. nice bright stuff going on here.

i’m pretty into ikea actually, not having much money the place is my friend. i haven’t heard about that but i have seen ikea’s comedy channel online before, quite funny

Yes, I’m not sure which came first but I love both! I used to think Qee were from Japan and was slightly disappointed to discover they actually originated in China. Somehow Japan seems more tropical, but they still make great collectibles! Shame they are SO hard to find in the UK…
